Nemocardium (Nemocardium) eocenense

Taxonomy
Unicardium eocenense was named by Meyer (1887) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Oligocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is USNM 644605, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Cordiula eocenense by Moore (1969); it was recombined as Nemocardium (Nemocardium) eocenense by Dockery (1982).
