Taxonomy
Griffithides convexicaudatus was named by Mitchell (1918). It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Cummingella convexicaudata by Hahn and Hahn (1972); it was recombined as Australokaskia (Longilobus) convexicaudata by Engel and Morris (1995); it was recombined as Australokaskia convexicaudata by Vanderlaan and Ebach (2015).
