Taxonomy
Neomys soriculoides was named by Sulimski (1959). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MZP 160,700,1109, a partial skull (Mandibles sin. (160) and dex. (700) with complete dentition and articular processes and rostral part of skull with complete maxillar teeth (1109). All of same i). It is the type species of Zelceina.
It was recombined as Zelceina soriculoides by Sulimski (1962).
