Braulioceras sanjuanense

Taxonomy
Braulioceras sanjuanense was named by Kröger et al. (2007) [=Polygrammoceras sp. ACENOLAZA AND BERESI, 2002, p. 115, pl. 2, fig. E]. Its type specimen is PI-IANIGLA No 925 Vi42, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Don Braulio section, Sierra de Villicúm, which is in a Darriwilian open shallow subtidal lime mudstone/limestone in the San Juan Formation of Argentina.
