G. Storch 1995Large-sized. 5 upper antemolars in front of P4; I sup. not fissident; i inf. slender and bicuspulate; a1 elongate, double-cusped, and with posterolingual basin; parastyle on P4 not conspicuously protruding anteriorly and protocone located rather close to paracone. p4 elongate, two-cusped, and with large posterolingual basin; M1-2 with distinct posterior emargination, rather expanded and concave hypoconal flange, well-developed protocone, and metaloph absent in most of the specimens, short in the remainder; M1 with continuous endoloph; m1-2 with strong and high entoconid and entocristid, entoconid close to metaconid, and with broad ectocingulid; m1 with evenly convex (not rectangular) anterolabial outline and short talonid; m3 talonid greatly reduced; lower articular facet of massive condyloid process situated rather anteriorly and interarticular area broad; internal temporal fossa subdivided by strong limula; coronoid process rather small; one mandibular foramen.
