Saul 2003Medium to large shell, broadly fusiform, convex whorls, ramp can be concave and with parasigmoidal growth lines, suture sinuous and can be covered by swollen collar; periphery angulate, spiral sculpture of alternate-width ribs, collabral sculpture of ribs strongest at periphery and becoming obsolete anteriorly before suture or before siphonal neck, aperture elliptical with or without posterior notch, siphonal canal narrow and moderately long, siphonal canal twisted and bearing narrow false umbilicus bounded by a low but well-marked siphonal fasciole, outer lip thin and Urate within, columella smooth and with thin callus.
