Anhinga subvolans

Taxonomy
Phalacrocorax subvolans was named by Brodkorb (1956). Its type specimen is University of Florida no. 4500, a limb element (proximal half of right humerus), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.

It was recombined as Anhinga subvolans by Becker (1986).
