Taxonomy
Phacelostylophyllum robustum was named by Roniewicz (1974). It is not extant. Its type locality is NE part of Chochlowaska Valley (IX), sub-tatric series, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Poland.

It was recombined as Stylophyllum robustum by Fantini Sestini and Motta (1984) and Roniewicz and Michalík (1998).
