Cantharus martiniana
Taxonomy
Cancellaria martiniana was named by Noetling (1901) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene-Miocene; Myanmar.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Leptanzeik (Singu stage), which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the Singu Formation of Myanmar.
It was recombined as Cantharus martinianus by Dalton (1908); it was recombined as Tritonidea martiniana by Vredenburg (1921) and Vredenburg (1923); it was recombined as Cantharus martiniana by Mukerjee (1939).
