Chione (Lirophora) falconensis was named by Hodson et al. (1927) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; circum-Caribbean.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Lirophora (Lirophora) falconensis by Woodring (1982) and Perrilliat (1992).
