Taxonomy
Naiadopsis was named by Mendes (1952). It is not extant. Its type is Naiadopsis lamellosus.

It was synonymized subjectively with Goniophora by Cox et al. (1969).

It was assigned to Permophorinae by Morris et al. (1991); and to Modiomorphidae by Salvador and Simone (2010).
