Palaeoneilo (Metapalaeoneilo) baltica was named by Lamcke (1934) [DISTRIBUTION: Silurian; Northern Germany.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Metapalaeoneilo baltica by Cox et al. (1969).
