Hinge plate arcuate, wide and broad, having uninterrupted anterior and posterior taxodont tooth rows that meet at an obtuse angle (>100˚); shape of teeth variable, ranging from peg-like below the beak to chevron-shaped. Teeth below beak not diminished in size. Ligament external. Ornament comarginal. Hinge axis pases through posterior row of teeth. |
