Chiromyoides campanicus

Taxonomy
Chiromyoides campanicus was named by Stehlin (1916). Its type specimen is NMB Cy-153, a mandible (nearly complete left mandible with I1, P3-4, and M1-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cernay, which is in a Thanetian terrestrial horizon in the Conglomérat de Cernay Formation of France. It is the type species of Chiromyoides.

It was recombined as Plesiadapis campanicus by Teilhard (1922).
