Globularia (Ampullinopsis) altivapincana was named by Eames (1952) [DISTRIBUTION: Early-Middle Eocene; Pakistan.]. Its type specimen is BMNH G.68256, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil Bed F.1931, Rakhi Nala, which is in a Lutetian marine shale in the Baska Formation of Pakistan.
