Taxonomy
Gypidula rudiplicativa was named by Jin et al. (1993). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is DRS 88-2, Attawapiskat River, which is in a Telychian shallow subtidal limestone in the Attawapiskat Formation of Canada.
