Taxonomy
Whitfieldella sulcatina was named by Jin et al. (1993). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC C-4459, Ekwan River, which is in a Telychian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Attawapiskat Formation of Canada.
