Lucina pseudoargus was named by d'Archiac and Haime (1853) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; Pakistan.]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Venus pseudoargus by d'archiac and Haime (1854); it was recombined as Dosinia pseudoargus by Vredenburg (1928).
