Taxonomy
Pseudobatostomella kuramotoi was named by Sakagami and Sugimura (2000). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is S 124, Shigeyasu, Akiyoshi Limestone, which is in a Capitanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Japan.
