Malfelis badwaterensis
Taxonomy
Malfelis badwaterensis was named by Stucky and Hardy (2007). Its type specimen is CM 62590, a skull (complete skull without mandibles), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Davis Ranch, which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Malfelis.
