Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
M. Harzhauser and T. Kowalke 2002The small, thin, cap-shaped shell has an oval outline. It measures up to 1.5 mm in maximum diameter and up to 0.9 mm in height. The flat, cup-like smooth protoconch
measures 0.3 mm in height. It is characterised by a marked constriction. Its sculpture consists of an indistinct groove ridge pattern. The onset of the teleoconch is indicated by the formation of growth lines. The subcentral apex is slightly hooked. In lateral view the posterior slope grades straight to gently concave, the anterior slope grades convex. The surface is sculptured by weak, irregular concentric lines of growth. The interior portion is smooth.
