Taxonomy
Arvicola (Evotomys) intermedius was named by Newton (1882). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is West Runton Freshwater Bed, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in the Cromer Forest Bed Formation of the United Kingdom.
