Stomatella concinna was named by Gould (1845) [DISTRIBUTION: Holocene-Recent; west Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Stomatella (Synaptocochlea) concinna by Pilsbry (1890); it was recombined as Synaptocochlea concinna by Ladd (1966).
