It was recombined as Nassarius (Niotha) variegatus by Ladd (1982).

    It was recombined as Nassarius (Niotha) gemmulatus by MacNeil (1960); it was synonymized subjectively with Nassarius (Niotha) variegatus by Ladd (1982).
