Rimella narica was named by Vredenburg (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene; Pakistan.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Rostellaria subrimosa narica by Vredenburg (1925); it was recombined as Rimella subrimosa narica by Iqbal (1980); it was recombined as Varicospira narica by Harzhauser (2007) and Harzhauser et al. (2009).
