It was recombined as Rostellaria (Rimella) javana by Martin (1899); it was recombined as Rimella (Dientomochilus) javana by Vredenburg (1921); it was recombined as Rimella javana by Vredenburg (1928); it was recombined as Dientomochilus javana by Skwarko and Sufiati (1994); it was recombined as Varicospira javana by Harzhauser (2007).
