Rimella (Dientomochilus) martini was named by Pannekoek (1936) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; Indonesia.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Dientomochilus martini by Skwarko and Sufiati (1994); it was recombined as Varicospira martini by Harzhauser (2007).
