L. R. Saul and W. P. Popenoe 1993Medium-sized fusiform shells with the spire more than half total shell height. Whorls flat sided, or- namented by strong collabral ribs and subdued overriding spiral ribbons. Aperture lenticular, angulated posteriorly; siphonal canal moderately long and straight; columella smooth (SOHL, 1964:226).
