Palaeoxanthopsis tylotus

Taxonomy
Palaeoxanthopsis tylotus was named by Schweitzer et al. (2008). Its type specimen is UPRMP 2673, a carapace, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is El Rayo Locality 1, which is in a Maastrichtian platform/shelf-margin reef limestone in the El Rayo Formation of Puerto Rico.
