Natica glaucinoides was named by Sowerby (1812) [DISTRIBUTION: Paleogene; France, England.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Euspira glaucinoides by Majima (1989), Jeffery and Tracey (1997) and Pastorino (2005).
