Nerita papilla was named by Gmelin (1791) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Recent; Indo-West Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Sinum papilla by Kuroda and Habe (1952); it was recombined as Eunaticina papilla by Majima (1989).
