Promilio floridanus

Taxonomy
Proictinia floridana was named by Brodkorb (1956). Its type specimen is University of Florida no. 777, a limb element (distal portion of left tarsometatarsus), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.

It was recombined as Promilio floridanus by Wetmore (1958).
