Taxonomy
Vielicyathus zejszneri was named by Morycowa and Roniewicz (1987). Its type locality is Scleractinians from Salt Deposits in the Carpathians, which is in a Badenian shallow subtidal conglomerate/sandstone in the Uvigerina costai Formation of Poland.
