Taxonomy
Intexodictyon confertum was named by Lesovaya (1971). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Turkestan Mountains, Isfara River, which is in a Wenlock reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Pschemack Formation of Tajikistan.
