Taxonomy
Emmonsiella ornata was named by Kim (1971). Its type locality is Turkestan Mountains, Isfara River, which is in a Pridoli perireef or subreef limestone in the Isfara Formation of Tajikistan. It is the type species of Emmonsiella.
