Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
B. P. Vjushkov and P. K. Chudinov 1957[translated] The skull of this medium-sized captorhinid is 10-15 cm long and strongly widened posteriorly. The mandible is massive and bears a rough-textured ridge and pit sculpture. The dentary bears on its broad, plane internal suface more than four dozens of teeth, arranged in five rows. In the symphysial area and the anterior end of the jaw six slightly enlarged teeth are present. Tooth insertion is theco-acrodont. The branches of the jaw form an angle of about 80° with the symphysis.
