Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
R. D. Hoare et al. 1972Head valve short relative to width, broadly rounded anteriorly, lateral and anterior slopes uniform and apex present but not pronounced. Intermediate valves distinctly wider than long, jugal sinus a continuation of form of the anterior margin, jugum not strongly set off from jugal areas, apex distinct and lateral slopes gently concave. Tail valve with short keel terminating in a raised mucro just anterior to mid-length, anterior margin flatly convex and posterior margin strongly rounded to subtrapezoidal in shape. Surface ornamentation of very fine granules arranged in quincunx and strongly developed lines of growth near valve margins. Sutural laminae wide and broadly rounded. Girdle unknown.

No complete association of plates is known. A reconstruction gives approximate length and width of 18.5 mm and 5.0 mm respectively. Measurements of individual plates are given in Table 1.
