Taxonomy
Pachypora lapparenti was named by Karapetov et al. (1975). Its type locality is Logar River, Badokalay Formation, which is in a Wenlock reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/siliciclastic in the Badokalay Formation of Afghanistan.
