Taxonomy
Adaverina gutta was named by Khayznikova (1989). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Sukhoy River, Sette Daban Mountains, unit 15, which is in a Wenlock shallow subtidal limestone in the Khandyg Formation of the Russian Federation.
