Taxonomy
Calamophylliopsis klothoensis was named by Beauvais (1988). Its type locality is Ban Klo Tho, Umphang area, unit 3a, which is in an Aalenian reef, buildup or bioherm lime mudstone in the Pu Khloe Phi Formation of Thailand.
