Wintunastraea stanleyi

Taxonomy
Wintunastraea stanleyi was named by Merriam (1972). Its type specimen is USNM 159464 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS. loc. M1135, south end of Chastain Ridge, Klamath Mountains, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Gazelle Formation of California. It is the type species of Wintunastraea.
