Axelella vokesae

Olssonella vokesae was named by Petit (1970) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Oligocene; North Carolina.]. Its type specimen is USNM 646465, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 562 - Webb Creek [Silverdale Fm], which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Silverdale Formation of North Carolina.
It was recombined as Axelella vokesae by Petit (1988).
