Limnostygis relictus
Taxonomy
Limnostygis relictus was named by Carroll (1967). Its type specimen is MCZ 3034, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Dominion Coal Co. strip mine No. 7, which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D mire/swamp coal/shale in Canada. It is the type species of Limnostygis.
