Casea halselli
Taxonomy
Casea halselli was named by Olson (1954). Its type specimen is CNHM (FMNH) UR 117, a set of postcrania (pelvis and limb elements), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality FC (Middle Choza Fm.), which is in a Leonardian terrestrial shale in the Choza Formation of Texas.
