Taxonomy
Eulimella was named by Forbes and MacAndrew (1846) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-l R Sepkoski's reference number: 614,852]. It is extant. Its type is Eulima macandrei.

It was assigned to Turbonillinae by Beu et al. (1990); to Heterostrophia by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pyramidellidae by Martin (1904), Lozouet (1998), Todd (2001) and Wienrich and Janssen (2007).
