Taxonomy
Corbula subengonata was named by Dall (1898) [DISTRIBUTION: ?Paleocene-Eocene; western Atlantic. COMMENTS: m. kosnik taxon no: 6648]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Corbula (Cuneocorbula) subengonata by Maury (1912); it was recombined as Cuneocorbula subengonata by Hendy et al. (2008).
