Morania nixonforkensis
Taxonomy
Morania nixonforkensis was named by Rohr et al. (2008). Its type specimen is USNM 534459, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Field Locality 94R-3 (=USGS 79APA82b), which is in a Gorstian/Pridoli carbonate limestone in Alaska.
