Tellina subrotunda was named by Deshayes (1825) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; western Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Arcopagia subrotunda by Morellet and Morellet (1945); it was misspelled as Arcopagia subrotundata by Piccoli and Savazzi (1983); it was recombined as Tellina (Sinuosipagia) subrotunda by Le Renard and Pacaud (1995).
