Stenoloron swallovana
Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria swallovana was named by Hall (1856) [Pleurotomaria Swallovana]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Spergen Hill, near railroad station at Harristown, southeast of Salem, which is in a Meramecian carbonate limestone in the Salem Formation of Indiana.
It was recombined as Bembexia swallowiana by Buddington and Chapin (1929); it was recombined as Stenoloron swallovana by Wagner (2023).
