Raphitoma (Amblyacrum) perplexa daphnelloides was named by Gougerot and Le Renard (1981) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; western Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Raphitoma daphnelloides by Piccoli and Savazzi (1983).
